GREG CLARK FOR SUPERVISOR · DISTRICT 4

PRIORITIES

From here. For here.

El Dorado County is special because of who we are and the way we live. Here's what Greg will fight for as your Supervisor — for our families, our neighbors, and the District 4 we love.

ISSUE 01

Public Safety & Fire Protection

Fire is more than a threat to property. It threatens our homes, our businesses, and our way of life.

As Supervisor, fire protection and mitigation will be Greg's primary focus on the Board. When wildfire risk grows every year, leadership has to do more than respond — it has to prepare, coordinate, and fund the agencies and councils on the front lines.

GREG'S COMMITMENT

  • Make fire protection my Board's primary focus from day one
  • Support the Office of Wildfire Preparedness & Resilience and their work
  • Coordinate with Fire Wise Councils and local, state, and federal agencies
  • Aggressively pursue grants and additional funding to protect our communities
ISSUE 02

Rural Way of Life & the General Plan

El Dorado County is special because of its rural character — not in spite of it.

Greg and his wife decided to raise their kids in El Dorado because they remembered the quality of life this place gave them growing up. As Supervisor, Greg will work to maintain the rural character and quality of life that makes District 4 home — and follow the voter-approved General Plan when making the planning decisions that shape our future.

GREG'S COMMITMENT

  • Protect the rural character that makes District 4 home
  • Follow the voter-approved General Plan when making planning decisions
  • Ensure new developments are placed where infrastructure can support them
  • Listen to neighbors before approving change in their communities
ISSUE 03

Roads & Safety

Our roads are essential — for commerce and for survival.

When seconds count, the condition of our roads can mean the difference between a saved life and a tragedy. Roads aren't just infrastructure — they're how first responders reach an emergency, how kids get to school, and how every part of our county stays connected. As Supervisor, Greg will treat road maintenance as the safety priority it is.

GREG'S COMMITMENT

  • Treat road maintenance as the critical safety infrastructure it is
  • Seek out and advocate for every available source of funding
  • Ensure first responders can move quickly when emergencies strike
  • Prioritize repair of routes critical to evacuation and access
ISSUE 04

Economic Development

Growth that fits who we are.

El Dorado County is special because of its unique Gold Rush history and its rural and agricultural character. Greg supports policies that lead to economic development which complement — not erase — our rural way of life. That means sensible growth in recreation and agritourism, vacation rental policies that respect existing communities, and economic strategy rooted in who we are.

GREG'S COMMITMENT

  • Support policies that grow the economy without sacrificing rural character
  • Champion sensible expansion of recreation and agritourism opportunities
  • Set vacation rental policies that respect existing communities
  • Protect local agriculture as the backbone of our county's economy
ISSUE 05

Libraries & Measure C

Libraries are more than books. They're community hubs.

Greg supports Measure C, which will continue to fund the Georgetown Library. Libraries are how neighbors get online, correspond with friends and loved ones, apply for jobs, get the news, borrow books and movies with no late fees, and gather across generations. Strong libraries mean a stronger, more connected District 4.

GREG'S COMMITMENT

  • Support Measure C to keep the Georgetown Library open and funded
  • Defend libraries as essential community infrastructure
  • Protect free access to internet, books, and educational programs
  • Champion libraries as gathering places that bring our communities together
