Meet Greg
Greg Clark is a father and school board leader running for El Dorado County Supervisor, District 4. Raised in El Dorado County and a graduate of El Dorado High School, Greg understands firsthand the importance of strong schools, safe communities, and preserving the rural character that defines the district.
After earning his bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley, Greg received his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law. He practiced law in several Northern California counties before opening his own law practice in Placerville, where he now serves local families and residents. Greg is not a career politician—he is a working professional who stepped forward to serve because he cares deeply about the future of his community.
During the pandemic, Greg and his wife—also raised in El Dorado County and a Gold Trail graduate—made the decision to return home so their daughters could grow up in the same close-knit community and attend the same schools that shaped them. In 2022, voters elected Greg to the Gold Trail Union School District Board, where he currently serves as Board President, focusing on student safety, educational quality, and long-term planning.
In addition to his work on the school board, Greg serves as President of the El Dorado County Law Library, is active in his local Fire Safe Council, and coaches his daughters in the Foothill Girls Softball League, staying engaged in the community at every level.
Greg is running for Supervisor to bring independent judgment, transparency, and practical leadership—not career politics—to county government. His priorities are clear: keeping District 4 rural, strengthening public safety, and addressing the cost of living so families, seniors, and future generations can continue to thrive in El Dorado County.
